Company ProfileThe Hodeidah Shipping & Transport Co. S.Y.C, (HODSHIP), is the shipping and agency arm of the Thabet Group of Companies. The Company’s broad shipping experience dates back to 1969 when the company was established in Hodeidah. Since then the company has expanded into the premier shipping agency in Yemen servicing the whole of the country through offices in Hodeidah, Sana’a, Aden, Mokha, Mukalla and Saleef. Our expertise extends from ship agency and husbandry to stevedoring and container handling. We represent a number of major shipping lines serving the area with both break bulk and containerized cargoes as well as passenger vessels and tankers. Our expertise in the area has also served well in assisting complicated operations such as salvage and port operations. In addition to our shipping agency operations we are also the Lloyds Agency and P&I correspondent to a number of major P&I Clubs.
